Come and immerse yourself for a few hours in learning about an ancient culture that has survived the test of time.

Learn about the prevailing social challenges and cultural complexities that Aboriginal people are dealing with, and ways to improve relationships and outcomes with Aboriginal families and their communities, using local examples and experiences.

I offer training that encourages participants to develop a more respectful understanding of Aboriginal people including;

An overview of traditional Aboriginal societies and culture, in particular, the Noongar peoples of Western Australia.

The effects of colonization upon that culture, with particular reference to the Noongar peoples of the Avon Valley east of Boorloo (Perth).

An examination of contemporary attitudes to Aboriginal people and ‘white privilege’.

Practical advice about working and liaising effectively with Aboriginal people – including the importance of developing a RAP.
